14.30 Tuk tuk tour:
The tour, before reaching the monumental center of Piazza Duomo in the Upper Town, allows you to discover how many green areas, gardens, parks and vegetable gardens Bergamo offers. The itinerary includes a visit to Palazzo Moroni with its gardens and the Monastery of Astino. An unusual itinerary full of meadows, vineyards, flowered balconies and priceless views.

Morning:
07.45 Meeting point at the congress venue, Centro Congressi Giovanni XXIII (Viale Papa Giovanni XXIII 106, Bergamo)
08.00 Departure by bus to Sant’Agata di Villanova sull’Arda (PC)
Visit to Villa Verdi, the country estate that Verdi chose as his residence during the years of maturity and success.
Transfer by bus to Roncole Verdi (PR)
Visit of the outside of Verdi's birthplace and the church of S. Michele Arcangelo.
Visit to the aging cellars of Culatello di Zibello.
Lunch
Afternoon:
Transfer by bus to Parma
Guided tour of Parma city center on foot, to discover the main monuments of the historic center:
- Piazzale della Pace with the outside of Monumental Complex of the Pilotta and Teatro Farnese, a sumptuous seventeenth-century structure completely built in wood;
- Teatro Regio and the outside of Basilica della Steccata (containing the latest masterpiece of Parmigianino), Piazza Garibaldi;
- in Piazza Duomo visit of the Cathedral (Deposition of the sculptor-architect Benedetto Antelami, masterpiece of Correggio), and the exterior of the Baptistery, a shining example of fusion between painting, sculpture and architecture of the Romanesque-Gothic period.
16.30 Return to Bergamo by bus
